The St. Maarten Academy is an independent Secondary School located on the Island of St. Maarten. It's now known as FAVE (Foundation for Academic and Vocational Education) emerged in 1974 as the First Secondary School, with English as the language of instruction.


It has an Academic campus and a Vocational campus. The St. Maarten Academy offers quality education for challenged post elementary students and prepares them for a post secondary college or the world of work. The school’s environment is one in which students are made to feel comfortable and perform to their highest potential. The Principal and Staff seek to provide an atmosphere that is conducive to learning and continual development. At the St. Maarten Academy students experience caring and the joy of learning, achieving and excelling.
