On October 25th, 2024, St. Maarten Academy P.S.V.E. proudly announced its rebranding to the St. Maarten Academy Vocational Business Campus (VBC), a historic milestone commemorating 25 years of educational excellence and dedication to vocational studies. Under the VSBO educational system, the institution has long empowered students to excel academically while acquiring practical skills to help them thrive as future professionals. This name change symbolizes the institution’s dedication to growth, ambition, and the fostering of dreams.

The vision for VBC is a dynamic pathway for student success. "The St. Maarten Academy Vocational Business Campus is not just an institution; it is a gateway for our students to realize their potential while acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the business world and beyond."

The new name reflects VBC’s commitment to nurturing young minds to achieve both personal and academic excellence, emphasizing a future grounded in community, resilience, and opportunity. In alignment with the school’s vibrant colors—Yellow, Fuchsia, Blue, Green, and Gray—each hue symbolizes the guiding principles of VBC:

•       Yellow represents the Sun, the warmth and guidance of God. In addition to the leadership of our school.

•       Fuchsia symbolizes the school’s profound faith in God and its ongoing journey of growth.

•       Blue mirrors the surrounding oceans, embodying resilience and vast possibilities.

•       Green represents the strength of St. Maarten’s mountains and the perseverance of its students.

•       Gray illustrates the firm foundation upon which the campus is built, ready to tackle new challenges.

We are excited about the future and reaffirm our role as an educational pillar that inspires all students to dream big, start small, and give back to the community. This philosophy will guide students toward greatness and prepare them to lead meaningful and impactful lives in their community and beyond.

 

Please remember that dreams can only become a reality when we actively pursue them through prayer and by sharing them with God. It's essential to understand that faith without accompanying action is ineffective and does not lead to tangible results. As you embark on this journey, carry this scripture verse with you for more profound reflection:

Daniel 11:32: "But the people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits."
