Principal
Planning, developing policies, coordinating the daily operations, provides leadership to staff, executing, analyzing, evaluating, representing and leading
Vice Principal
Assists in the planning, developing and executing the policies of the school
Requirements for Principal / Vice Principal

Master of Education from a recognized and accredited University

Teaching Diploma
-
Must have at least 3 - 5 years experience

Have a broad theoretical and practical knowledge in the education field

Knowledge and insights in CSEC/CXC/CCSLC/CAPE curriculum

Proficiency in Microsoft Office - specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Must have excellent written communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to work well in a team environment as well as lead the team

CAPE Coordinator
Requirements for CAPE Coordinator
-
Master’s Degree in Education from a recognized and accredited University
-
Teaching Diploma
-
Must have at least 3 – 5 years experience at the CAPE level
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office - specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
-
Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
-
The ability to work well in a team environment as well as lead the team
-
Committed to Excellence

Perform any other related duties as required by the Management and Board of F.A.V.E.

Preference for a Dutch citizen or legal resident of St. Maarten
Teachers
-
Dutch (experience teaching at the upper levels is an asset)

Physics (capable of teaching at both CSEC and CAPE levels)

Spanish (capable of teaching at both CSEC and CAPE levels, with CXC experience, )
-
French (capable of teaching at both CSEC and CAPE levels)

Chemistry (capable of teaching at both CSEC and CAPE levels)

Agricultural Science (capable of teaching at CSEC level)

Physical Education (capable of teaching at CSEC level)

Visual Arts

Mathematics

Performing Arts / Drama

Communication Studies/English

Business Studies - (Principles of Accounts, Principles of Business and Economics; Management of Business, CAPE Accounting, and Entrepreneurship)
Requirements for Teachers

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized and accredited University is required with Specialization in subject area
-
Teaching Diploma
-
Excellent written Communication and Interpersonal Skills
-
Must have at least 3 years teaching experience within the CXC context
-
Must be computer literate
-
Must be a team player
-
Knowledgeable in teaching on various digital platforms
-
Must be willing to upgrade themselves and keep abreast with innovations in education
-
Preference for a Dutch citizen or legal resident of St. Maarten
Librarian
Cataloging and guiding students and teachers, selecting, ordering and selecting,
ordering and numbering books, teaching Information Literacy
A Master's Degree in Library Science from a recognized and accredited University is required (having a teaching certificate would be an asset).
Requirements for Librarian

Must have at least 3 - 5 years experience

Knowledgeable of the global content of various documents/publications
-
Implementing and usage databases in the school
-
Making documentation available in the various subject areas
-
Knowledge of didactic work as it relates to working in a library
-
Must have subject knowledge of the administration and library regulations
-
Ability to work with students, teachers and other support staff.

Know how to apply coding and classification
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office - specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Must have excellent written communication and interpersonal skills

Scheduler
Prepares class, substitute and exam schedules; make recommendations on curriculum needs
Requirements for Scheduler

A Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Information Technology or related field

Scheduling

Administrative writing skills

Professionalism, confidentiality, and organization

Reporting skills

Administrative Assistant / Archiver
Requirements for the Administrative Assistant / Archiver

A Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Business from a recognized and accredited University is required
-
Must have at least 3 - 5 years experience

Provides a broad range of administrative support to the school
-
Takes minutes at staff meetings
-
Ensures that students files are organized
-
Ensures a digital filing system of school records
-
Performs head count at the end of August and beginning of June each academic year
-
Tracks students and staff absenteeism
-
Produces monthly absenteeism reports
-
Emails staff their individual absenteeism report
-
Assist with transcript preparation
-
Registration of new students
-
Performs any other related duties as required by Management
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office - specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
-
Must have excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
-
Perform any other related duties as required by the Management and the Board of F.A.V.E.
